Egrek Cinema is a boutique cinema and private events venue designed with an open bar and panoramic views of the northern suburbs of Johannesburg. The venture is inspired by the passion and design of independent cinemas in towns and cities across Europe.
The cinema is equipped with a wide scope screen and digital projection for a specialized viewing experience. With titles from the latest blockbuster movies and old, beloved classics, the cinema can be used for customized occasions. A Valentines Special can include a short classic film before the main attraction with a serving of a light tapas meal and dessert in the cinema.
As a private events venues, Egrek can host childrens birthday parties. Parents can relax in the open bar while the children are taken care of by the cinema’s in-house child minding service.
There are snacks, drinks and catered food available for order at the venue.
