Fak'ugesi, which translates to "switch on the electricity" in South African township slang, and this event draws digital creatives, coders, animators, sound artists, archivists, urban planners, climate technologists, investors, educators, policymakers, and students. The festival features a programme, exhibition, and exchange, and it convenes the thinkers, makers, storytellers, technologists, and cultural visionaries shaping the continent's next chapter.
