Erinvale Estate Hotel & Spa hosts a Father's Day market-style lunch, structured around a series of food stalls through which guests move freely during the afternoon. The format replaces a conventional sit-down meal with a self-directed progression through stations, accompanied by live music from Cape Town-based pop singer-songwriter Nina Brand, Jack Black craft beer and Ginologist gin stations, and a photobooth.
The food programme spans salads (Greek-style, seasonal barley with broccoli and citrus, and potato), an artisanal cheese station with local cheeses, breads and preserves, potjie kos with slow-cooked beef, chicken and a vegetarian option, smoked BBQ-style sliders, Asian-inspired steamed buns and spring rolls, steamed mussels, and an ice cream station with waffles, pancakes, sugar cones and toppings.
The ticket price includes craft gin and beer; a cash bar is available for additional beverages. Bookings are essential.
