The First South African Perfume Museum builds on the heritage of the Kumanov family who for many decades have imported fine perfume oils and also manufacturered fine fragrances.
The Kumanov are the only perfumers in Africa who educate and enable others to grow from knowledge to enterprise through lectures and starter packs.
Visitors can explore an extensive and comprehensive permanent collection that includes antique masterpieces. There are also engaging exhibitions and workshops that reflect a fresh view of the amazing world of perfume.
The mission of the museum is to act as a bridge between the rich heritage of the world of perfume, as embodied in its collection, and the unique experience of each visitor.
