Flava & Co is delivering a selection of Fresh Meal-kits with recipe cards and the Frozen Food range both ideal for family dining while catering for convenience.
Jeanie Erickson, Director of Flava & Co says, “I’m a huge foodie but I know it can be a mission to first find a recipe, to go to the shops (especially when it’s a lockdown), find all the ingredients you need and then still find the time to make it”. Jeanie created the company so that families can have healthy, tasty recipes with ingredients conveniently delivered to homes in Joburg and Pretoria.
Most of the meals from the Fresh-Meal kit selections can be made within 30 min or less, and the recipes are inspired by global cuisines. The menu includes Pork Souvlaki Pita with Tzatziki Chakalaka Rice & Prawns Chicken Cashew Stir Fry, as well as the introduction of the popular plant-based range.
Co-owner Dee Gullan says, “We’re so used to quickly popping into the shops on the way back from work to pick up dinner, but now our customers are finding they have that extra 30 min a day to spend with their kids, or do some exercise or do something for themselves. When people first start ordering Flava, they think they’re going to try some new meals but are also getting their time back.”
