The second annual edition of the Galpalooza two-day festival takes place over Women’s Day weekend and showcases a lineup of female-fronted live performances.
The festival also features art exhibitions, stalls, activities, and tons more fun. The live music starts from 5pm each day and goes on until late with DJs taking over after the live acts.
Featured acts this year include Kayla The Crow (CPT), Jolling Band, The Russian Dolls, Lee-Soulaé, Marcia Moon (CPT), Maddy Behrens, Tuin, Ultra Mel Band, DJ Gypsy Mama, Indigo Girl, Jodie Reid, Cath Grenfell, Reets, Norra (CPT), Vicky Jankiewicz, Aya Nixon, Poison & Wine, KatzTheSingR, Tea & Oranges, Lundi Khoisan, Belinda & Amy, and Black Heidi
Food and drinks are available for purchase from the Otterlake Bar & Kitchen, and general admission tickets include free camping right next to the river. There will also be designated braai facilities inside the main venue, and the restaurant will be open for breakfast from 10am.
Saturday is Women's Day but the party starts on the Friday and continues through to the Saturday with a special small free additional day on the Sunday, too.
