The Glenshiel Fair is a must-visit market experience on Johannesburg’s social calendar every spring.
Over 80 small business owners from South Africa and beyond showcase their most stylish, on-trend products at this year’s fair. With vendors travelling as far as the UK, Zimbabwe, the Cape, and the Natal Midlands, the Glenshiel Fair offers Joburgers a world-class shopping experience.
Visitors can expect exquisitely crafted bags, accessories, jewellery, clothing, scarves, and stunning home décor. This is also the perfect opportunity to get a head start on shopping for bespoke handcrafted Christmas decorations, stationery, and luxury tableware.
The experience extends beyond shopping at the fair. Guests can treat their taste buds to delicious cakes, cookies, and other delights to help set in the festive mood. Those after something on the savoury side can indulge in a delectable selection of gourmet treats, snacks and artisanal beverages.
Wednesday, 28 October is the preview event. Tickets for this special night include canapés and drinks, along with first access to shop the vendor stalls. From 29 October to 1 November, the fair opens fully with day tickets.
Proceeds of all entrance and raffle tickets go towards the valuable work of the Order of St John, a non-profit organisation that works to further their eye care, first aid, youth development and community health care projects across the country.
