Iziko Museums of South Africa and Artist-in-Residence, Thabo Makhetha-Kwinana presents a Fashion Performance titled Hope on a Horse at the Iziko South African National Gallery as part of the Breaking Down the Walls Exhibition.
Thabo Makhetha-Kwinana is a cultural ambassador, fashion designer and artist and the fashion art performance is inspired by 150 years of art, culture and heritage.
Alongside Academy Award-winning Dr. Jerry Mofokeng wa Makhetha, the event takes visitors on a journey through the Phetoho collection, currently showcased at the prestigious Iziko South African National Gallery, followed by a transformative fashion performance on Heritage Day. The performance will commence with the resounding noon cannon blast at 12pm.
