Igceke lezinkondlo is a live poetry and music event that has been hosting intimate shows at least twice annually, since 2022.
The vision and goal for Igceke lezinkondlo is to bring light to social issues and attention to upcoming artists who would like to help address these issues through the beauty of music and spoken word. There are open mics for those who want to be heard, and the event provides an intimate setting to those who want to experience the greatness of their favourites.
This edition is an open mic, which can be applied for via social media, and the theme is vintage and classy. The event was founded by Nosipho Khuzwayo (NueSam), a fellow poet and the CEO of Nokhanyisa entertainment, an arts management and events planning company.
