This interactive experience brings the orchestra to life through live demonstrations, familiar musical examples, and moments of audience participation. Visitors will discover how composers combine these sounds, explore the building blocks of orchestral music, and gain insight into the creative process behind the music heard from the stage.
The day is hosted by South African musician and conductor Richard Cøck and South African classical pianist Charl du Plessis, whose engaging and audience-friendly styles continue to inspire music lovers across the country. This concert looks to be as entertaining as it is enlightening, and whether guests are new to classical music or seasoned listeners, this is a rare opportunity to experience the orchestra from the inside out.
