The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra presents the first concert in the Summer Season of their esteemed World Symphony Series (WSS).
Concert 1 is led in conduction by popular conductor Daniel Boico, and the soloist for the evening is acclaimed Berlin-based Japanese-American violinist Mayumi Kanagawa.
The programme features performances of von Weber's 'Oberon' Overture, Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, Op.35 in D Major, and Brahms' Symphony No.2 Op.73 in D Major.
