The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra presents the second concert in the Summer Season of their esteemed World Symphony Series (WSS).
Concert 2 is led in conduction by the South African born and bred Conrad van Alphen, and the soloist for the evening is piano virtuoso, Ludmil Angelov.
The programme features performances of Fauré's 'Masques et bergamasques, Op. 112', Chopin's 'Variations on La ci darem la mano, Op. 2' and 'Grande polonaise brillante, Op. 22', and Beethoven's 'Symphony No. 2, Op. 36 in D Major'.
