The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra presents the third concert in the Summer Season of their esteemed World Symphony Series (WSS).
Concert 3 is led in conduction by popular returning conductor Daniel Boico, and the soloists for the evening are violinist Zanta Hofmeyr and soprano Siphokazi Maphumulo. The soloists are supported in performance by the Gauteng Choristers.
The programme features performances of Mendelssohn's 'Hebrides Overture (Fingal’s Cave)' and 'Violin Concerto, Op. 64 in e minor', along with Bessey's 'The Rise of the Hunter'.
