Keurboom Park

The Keurboom Park Association was formed in May 2009.

The aims and objectives of the Keurboom Park Association (KPA) are to provide a safe and clean natural space, to conserve the diversity of plants and animals in the park. A place just to walk or cycle through while children play on the accommodating playground.

Keurboom Park, is a serene green space that offers a refreshing escape from the urban bustle. Spanning 52 acres, this public park boasts a harmonious blend of natural beauty and recreational amenities.

Dotted with mature trees, well-maintained lawns, and walking paths, it provides a tranquil setting for individuals and families alike.

Visitors to Keurboom Park can enjoy a leisurely stroll along its winding trails, taking in the sights and sounds of nature. The park's well-placed benches invite moments of quiet contemplation, making it a popular spot for relaxation and picnics.

A prominent feature is the dam, adding a picturesque element to the landscape. Birdwatchers can appreciate the diverse avian population that frequents the park, enhancing the overall biodiversity.

While the park lacks extravagant features, its simplicity is its charm, creating a welcoming environment for visitors seeking a peaceful connection with nature. Keurboom Park, with its unassuming allure, remains a valued green oasis in the heart of Cape Town.
