The Market at the Sheds in the 012 Central Building is a monthly market that brings together local entrepreneurs, designers, artists, musicians and other local creators for an African urban market experience. The hip market features more than 60 stands, seven live bands and performers, pop-up art exhibitions, creative activations and an open stage where local musicians play laid-back jazz music.
The market is part of Pretoria City Centre’s urban revolution and invites patrons to enjoy gourmet food and drinks such as burgers and wraps, peri-peri prawns, tacos and brownies. Craft beers and cocktails are also available from bars and stalls. The market’s trendy fashion stalls include traders selling jewellery, vintage clothing, artworks and unique handmade items. Live bands perform regularly at the market, with pop-up art exhibitions, also one of its popular features.
The market is child friendly, with a dedicated play area. There is safe parking nearby, and plenty of tables and benches are available in the sunny courtyard. The market is open on the last Saturday of every month, however dates and times are subject to change.
