The Michelin 24H Series is an international endurance racing championship making its official debut in South Africa, giving motorsport fans the opportunity to be part of a historic first for international endurance racing.
From 8 to 10 January 2027, the event takes place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit, marking the first international 24-hour endurance race in South Africa. Over two days, international GT and touring car teams take on the challenge of racing continuously day and night, battling for 24 hours around the demanding Kyalami circuit.
On day one, the action begins with free practice, qualifying and night practice sessions as teams prepare for the challenge ahead. Fans also get their first opportunity to see the international field in action and experience the atmosphere building around the circuit. Friday evening also features a pit walk and driver autograph session, while Saturday offers fans the opportunity to experience the starting grid up close before the race begins. Both experiences are available as separate ticket add-ons.
On day two, attention turns to the main event as the teams line up for the start of the Michelin 24H KYALAMI. Once the race gets underway, competitors battle through the afternoon, into the night and through Sunday morning, with the chequered flag falling on Sunday 10 January.
With 24 hours of continuous racing, fans can experience everything from the excitement of the race start and the atmosphere of night racing to the final battles for position as the finish approaches. Away from the track, a lively Fan Village offers plenty to see and do throughout the weekend, making the Michelin 24H KYALAMI an experience that goes beyond the racing itself.
Fan Village tickets provide access to the Fan Village and general spectator areas around the circuit. Fans can choose between Friday admission, Saturday and Sunday admission, Sunday-only access or a full weekend ticket covering all three days.
For those who prefer to watch the action from the stands, Fan Village + Grandstand tickets offer the same general access alongside grandstand access. These tickets are available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or the full weekend, with limited availability.
The venue remains open throughout the night, allowing fans with Saturday and Sunday access to experience every hour of the race, from the afternoon start to the chequered flag on Sunday.
Camping options are also available, allowing fans to stay close to the action throughout the weekend. Further experiences, including Club and Sunset packages and a dedicated Car-Bar area, are to be announced soon. Full details, availability and booking information are to be shared through the official Michelin 24H SERIES channels.
