This play, written and produced by Luc Albinski, is a tribute to the noble deeds of the writer’s mother, who fought to save lives in the Warsaw Ghetto during World War II.
'Nobody Told Me' is a requiem of laughter and gunpowder, where devotion and delirium dance beneath the shadow of barbed wire. Halina, physician and mother working at the Stawki Street hospital by the Umschlagplatzt, clings to her white coat in an act of selflessness, even as the world begs her to shed it.
The play stars Liezl de Kock, André Lötter, Aimèe Mica Komorowsky , Mamodibe Ramodibe, Damon Berry, Khuthadzo Ndou, Dihan Keun, Jade Scheepers, Andile Mgeyi and Ngwedi Ramphele.
