Origin is a full weekend of conscious partying as the techno-shamanic tribes from the cities, towns, fields and forests gather in a valley of breath-taking natural beauty to celebrate life and togetherness.
As one Africa’s brightest shining lights for psychedelic music, art, and culture, Origin strives to promote Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect for all, through strengthening the global community based on conscious party ethics and respect for nature. The festival features various installations and concepts, and of course, a lot of techno.
As always, the line-up promises to host some of the best musical talent South Africa has to offer, plus major international headliners too. Expect Warm Melodic Techno and Organic Deep House that weaves into an ecstatic eruption of good vibes on the Beats Floor and chill sounds and psychedelic beats on the Origin Floor.
Luxury camping options are available and set in a private and secure area, with 24/7 management. Budget friendly pre-set up tents with mattresses and pillows are also available in general camping. Note that luxury camping and budget-friendly pre-set up tent tickets do not include festival entrance tickets, those are sold separately.
Origin believes that all communities are important, and as such, they are privileged to be able to offer a percentage of the profits of their yearly events to development projects under the guidance of the local municipality.
