Petals with Purpose: Dahlia Festival

Hadeco opens up the flowering dahlia fields for the 2026 Petals with Purpose: Dahlia Festival.

Guests can picnic amongst the flowers, take photos and listen in on expert talks. Special talks by Presenter and Gardening Expert, Melanie Walker and Hadeco Director, Charles Barnhoorn, are planned for the festival.

Food and refreshments are supplied by the local community. The event supports the local Magaliesburg community and R30 from each R80 ticket is to be donated to Hopelands Village and Emergency Control SA.

Time: Day 1: 8am to 3pm | Day 2: 8am to 2pm

Price: From R80pp | Free for kids u/12 accompanied by an adult elders turning 80 years old with Hadeco in 2026

Accessibility details: The festival is hosted on farm terrain, but wheelchair users are welcome. While field access may be limited, the flowers are visible from the sides. If you need assistance, the friendly team in Hadeco shirts will gladly help.
