The Sun Valley Stables is a horse-riding school and livery yard hosting a pony fun day where children spend the day riding horses, making arts and crafts, and playing outdoor games.
The day begins with the kids being introduced to the stable's ponies, with the fresh morning air adding to the fun. Coaches are on hand to help each child put on a riding helmet and teach them how to hold the reins correctly. The children then embark on the best part of the day with safe, guided horse rides.
After riding, the children are taught about all things horses - including grooming, where they use soft brushes to clean the pony's coat, and what ponies eat.
The children are also encouraged to get creative by making colourful, horse-themed arts and crafts. The afternoon is also full of outdoor games where kids play fun team games on the lawn.
Children need to bring their own snacks and water, and they are free to eat together on the green grass.
