Casa de España is an authentic Spanish restaurant in Johannesburg bringing the country’s famous vibrant cuisine to South Africa. Their lunch and dinner menu features paella, which the team is renowned for, and tapas with handcrafted, locally made ingredients such as chorizo.
Chefs and owners Jordi and Joaquin have learned the art of Spanish cooking from several family generations and through work in the best restaurants in Barcelona and Malaga. For them, cooking is not just putting some ingredients together. The perfect balance of spices, olive oil, protein and patience makes Spanish cuisine among the best in the world.
The atmosphere is relaxed with a familiar, neighbourhood restaurant vibe. Live music or DJ sets are performed on selected evenings.
