Saddle Creek Adventures is situated at the foothills of the Magaliesburg mountains, a 45 minute drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria. They offer a range of adventure activities, including horse riding, quad biking, go-karting, archery and clay pigeon shooting.
Their Quad biking trails offer a great experience and adventure for all ages. The bikes come in different forms, ranging from mini-quads for kids (there is a 10 year age limit) to fully automatic 250cc quads for adventurous adults. Packages include a 30 or 45 minute River Trail - Saddle Creek Guides assist their guests in getting to know how the Quads function. No prior experience or drivers licence is required but guests are advised to wear suitable clothing – jeans, takkies or boots and hats and sun cream. Riding helmets are provided and are compulsory.
For guests looking to plan out a day, a combination to consider is that of a 30-minute horse trail, 30-minute quad bike trail, five laps of Go Karting, 20 Arrows of Archery and 40 shots of Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting (20 disks) ending off with a private champagne picnic set up in the bush.
