The 12th Savanna Comics’ Choice Comedy Awards return to award the best in South African comedy throughout the last year.
Get tickets and join the 'who's who' in comedy for a glamorous night celebrating the best funny people in SA. This year's event is hosted by the fearless and hilarious Nina Hastie and Carvin H Goldstone, and stars Celine Tshika, Thabiso Mhlongo, Mel Jones, Mashabela Galane, Kagiso KG Mokgadi and Bexta.
See comedy favourites be awarded across various categories, including Savanna Newcomer, Headliner of the Year, Comedian of the Year, Best Solo Show, The Joe Mafela Award, and Innovative Comedy Performance.
The public can also have their say and get the chance to win a VIP experience to the awards. Vote for who gets to take home the Breakthrough Act of The Year Award, the Sauce of the Year Award, Presented by Mrs. Ball's, and the Best Comedy Festival or Show Award. Voting closes on 27 March 2025.
