Scene It harnesses the collective power of short videos to promote creatives in Cape Town.
Via a series of public campaigns, it curates the best short video submissions to create themed video ‘routes’.
A legacy project from the 2023 Cape Town International Animation Festival, the original AnimateCT Challenge highlighted 10 landmarks around Cape Town and challenged animators of all levels of experience to add their animations to the scenes provided.
Walk the route, and hunt down the QR codes to view the videos filmed in that spot, or simply click on the links on the Scene It website (see link) to see the results, and perhaps be inspired to add your own!
