The Mzansi Chamber Music Collective proudly presents a singular performance by the German-based Signum String Quartet.
The quartet was originally founded in 1994 with the current formation having played together since 2016. This current lineup includes Florian Donderer, Annette Walther (violin), Xandi van Dijk (viola), and Thomas Schmitz (cello).
The performance features works by some of South Africa’s most original composers, including Abel Selaocoe, Denise Onen, Lise Morrison, Njabulo Phungula, Monthati Masebe, Thandi Ntuli, Neo Muyanga, and Dizu Plaatjies together with Matthijs van Dijk.
