Spend an evening taking in beautiful classical music performed by a one-of-a-kind choir and soloists.
The choir is made up of members from all over Pretoria and is a one-time group formed specifically for this performance. The programme includes, among other pieces, works by Vivaldi, Beethoven, and Mozart, accompanied by a musical ensemble.
There are also solo performances, including organ solos by Professor Theo van Wyk from the University of Pretoria. Songs of Praiseis a British concept, that has been presented in South Africa since 1992 by well-known conductor, Richard Cock.
After more than 30 years it is still something unique and wonderful featuring a wide variety of musical material representing music old and new and featuring audience participation.
