The event is an award-winning, annual, two-day festival that celebrates a South African food staple that's affordable and tasty. The event features attendees discovrting and buying from over 50 different Kota outlets.
This year sees the event's 9th anniversary, which also celebrates 50 years of June 16 and the youth struggle of Sowetan.
The festival is a mix of flavour and family fun, featuring a variety of mouthwatering kotas, fun activities like face painting and jumping castles, live entertainment, and a celebration of local culture.
