Enjoy an evening on the Steenberg lawns in Constantia for a one-night-only open-air jazz experience under the stars - where live music, wine and generous food come together in one of Cape Town’s most beautiful outdoor settings.
Settle in on the lawn as Moonshine – Jazz with a Kick brings a warm, upbeat sound rooted in vintage jazz and swing, led by acclaimed saxophonist Dan Shout alongside some of Cape Town’s finest jazz musicians.
Moonshine’s set journeys through the Roaring 1920s and swing era of the ’30s and ’40s, into 1950s rock ’n’ roll, with soulful nods to Motown and modern pop reimagined in classic style. Expect favourites from Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, alongside Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Amy Winehouse and more.
As the sun sets behind the Constantia mountains, enjoy Steenberg wines, generous food prepared by Tryn, and an easy-going lawn atmosphere designed for friends, couples and small groups. Guests are welcome to bring picnic blankets and low chairs (chairs will be seated along the perimeter of the lawn).
