Smile FM hosts a 5km walk in the name of taking a stand against gender-based violence in South Africa.
Participants can choose to partake in an individual walk or a family walk which allows prams and children under 12 to participate. The event also features a family-filled morning of entertainment with singer Jarrad Ricketts, multi-talented personality Emo Adams, and singer Tarryn Lamb with pop trio BlackByrd.
There is also a designated children's area for kids under the age of 12, a picnic area where participants can bring and setup their own picnics, and a variety of food trucks.
Proceeds from the event go in support of local organisations and care facilities working to end gender-based violence.
