The AGOG Gallery

Maboneng is thought to be the home of many artists and too few galleries, but this changed with the arrival of the exhibition space, a place where the meaning of art is considered to be the meaning of the artist.

Located in the Maboneng Precinct, the gallery focuses on the curation and rotational exhibitions of young and established African contemporary artists. Their signature showstoppers include the hosting of curated events for individuals or corporates that use all four floors of the building.

These offer a dinner or lunch experience, an art walkabout with music and live performance, and the option to soak up their inner-city rooftop ambiance. This arty locale is well-used for private parties, day conferences, think tank sessions, functions, or simply as a meander to acquire some interesting contemporary art.

The gallery is dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists and to connecting artists with collectors, while providing a venue of high quality original fine art to accommodate every budget.
