Named after the Jukskei River, which flows between the two Gauteng cities of Pretoria and Johannesburg, The Jukskei Derby refers to the professional rugby union rivalry between the Pretoria-based Vodacom Bulls and the Joburg-based Fidelity 10betLions.
Coming off of their October clash in Round 3 of the 2026/27 URC season, where the men from Pretoria defeated the Lions with a 57-15 victory, the Lions are definitely looking for a comeback, especially since they're playing on their home turf.
Once again, the match sets the stage for both a clash on the field and a coaching battle between two management groups that share a history and respect on and off the field.
As always, this rugby derby is a battle for bragging rights, and it's sure to once again be a talking point among Gauteng's rugby communities.
