Back by popular demand, The Warrior Race #3 is the last warrior race of the year, taking place at Syringa Park at Avianto Estate and bringing a day of obstacles for those willing to rise to the challenge.
Participants can choose between three spectacular races, each differing in obstacles, difficulty and distances, and tap into that fearlessness and bravery to come out on top. Crawl, climb, jump and run over, through or under challenging obstacles while ensuring that no friend, family or colleague is left behind.
The various obstacle races include the Rookie, suitable for those aged 10+ with 15 obstacles in 5km. Next is the Commando, suitable for those aged 13+ with 22 obstacles in 10km. Then there's the Black Ops, suitable for those aged 18+ with 30 obstacles in 15km.
There is no kids' obstacle course, but there is a Warrior Kids Zone under the supervision of childminders, with an age limit of 4 – 12 years.
The Warrior race is about perseverance, determination, and grit and the collective tenacity of South Africans to endure and to emerge stronger.
