Spread the joy this Mandela Day and donate pre-loved toys to children in need at Willowbridge Shopping Centre.
Those who are able to donate can do so by visiting the shopping centre and finding one of the Toys for Joy recycling boxes situated outside Woolworths, Pick 'n Pay and Old Khaki. All brands of pre-loved toys are appreciated, though the donation drive cannot accept board games, batteries, books, play doh, paint, slime or oversized toys such as bikes, scooters and skateboards.
All donated toys go to Heartlands Baby Sanctuary and Miracle Kidz Safe House, two organisations dedicated to taking in young children in desperate need of care and protection, who have often been abandoned, abused or neglected.
The first 100 donations received opposite Old Khaki receive a complimentary kid's ice cream cone from The Dairy Den or a complimentary cupcake from Tessa’s Bakery.
