Tribute to Women is an annual event honouring the incredible women of Mzansi, with an exciting day of live performances, community, and joy.
The outdoor celebration closes Women’s Month by creating a welcoming, family-friendly space featuring delicious food, great vibes and world-class artists. The lineup includes multi-talented singer-songwriter Msaki, Afro-soul and hip-hop sensation Sjava, 'Khona' and multi-award-winning duo Mafikizolo, 'Lilizela' singer Nomfundoh Moh, and singer-songwriter and poet Busiswa.
Beyond the performance, the festival also highlights vital social initiatives, with the newly launched Malibongwe Arts Festival Foundation. The foundation, championed by newly appointed Malibongwe Arts Festival Chairperson Dr. Criselda Kananda, focuses on the advancement of women by providing essential skills, visibility, and resources within the arts, culture, and wellness sectors.
The Tribute to Women Music Festival is more than just a day of entertainment but also a cultural movement celebrating female empowerment and amplifying the voices of women who continue to change the world.
