Tshwane Youth Arts Festival

The annual Tshwane Youth Arts Festival, founded in 1994, is presented over a period of about 30 days giving more than 190 schools in the greater Gauteng and surrounding areas the opportunity of participating.

This Festival inspires children of diverse cultures to make a difference in their lives never to be forgotten. The youth is given the opportunity of expressing themselves and representing their school, in a variety of the Arts disciplines.

In 2013 it gave birth to “Kaleidoscope”, a popular revue competition, which is held as a benchmark to other up and coming revue productions. Performance categories include choirs, dance, instrumental, orchestral, drama, and visual arts.
