Vic’s Telescopes: Partial Solar Eclipse

On Tuesday, 17 February 2026, skywatchers in South Africa have the rare opportunity to observe a Partial Solar Eclipse, when the Moon moves in front of the Sun, partially blocking its light.

Join Vic's Telescopes for this special occasion. Vic brings along his telescopes, all safely fitted with solar filters, allowing you to observe the Sun up-close and in detail. If sunspots are present on the day, guest will be able to see them clearly through Vic's telescopes - some sunspots are astonishingly large, often comparable in size to Earth.

Every ticket holder receives a free pair of Solar Viewing Glasses, enabling each person to safely view the eclipse directly as it unfolds.
