The University of Johannesburg (UJ) Choir, a part of the division of UJ Arts & Culture in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture (FADA), presents Voices of Tomorrow, a collaborative choral concert.
Following the spirit of sustainability, this year’s concert turns its focus to the voices that will shape the future. Hosted at the UJ Arts Centre’s Keorapetse William Kgositsile Theatre, the concert brings together young choristers from local schools for an afternoon of beautiful music.
Audiences can look forward to an uplifting programme that showcases the range, spirit and promise of young choristers from across Johannesburg. Featured schools include Curro Aurora, Sacred Heart College Choir, De La Salle Holy Cross College Senior Choir, Roosevelt High School Choir and Greenside High School Choir.
Through this concert, UJ Choir continues to affirm the role of music in holistic education, youth development and community building. The initiative also supports the University of Johannesburg’s Strategic Plan 2035, particularly its commitment to positive societal impact, inclusivity, collaboration and the development of future-focused learning environments.
