WAV Festival is a bold new celebration of R&B, reimagined through an African lens. After making a splash with its debut in Cape Town in 2026, the festival has expanded its reach to Gauteng with a Pretoria experience called 'WAV After Dark' set for 2027.
Headlining the 2027 show are R&B sensations, Kwn and Ty Dolla $ign, with more acts to be announced. Hailing from East London, Kwn has quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in music with hits such as 'worst behaviour' and 'touch myself' which have been lauded for their bold, unfiltered lyricism.
Ty Dolla $ign is a veteran in the R&B world, having produced such classics as 'Paranoid' and 'Blasé'. He's known to have collaborated with many major artists, including the likes of Beyoncé, Drake and Rihanna, always adding a little something special to each collaborative effort.
While guests can look forward to a soulful serenade, WAV. is more than just a music festival. It is a platform for authentic African and diasporic creativity, connecting global artists, audiences and culture through a shared love of R&B.
