Join Roushanna Gray and the Veld & Sea team for an educational walk and talk in and around the cultivated wild herb gardens, farm and fynbos mountainside in search of wild flavour. After a wintery walk, guests can warm up back at the Glasshouse with fynbos chai tea and wild greens soup. All participants leave with the plants they forage and follow-up PDF notes and recipes are sent to attendees after the event.
For a successful foraging, guests should bring along a basket and scissors/secateurs, a notebook and pen, a water bottle and extra snacks if required, warm winter outdoor gear, and waterproof comfortable walking shoes/boots (the event goes ahead in the rain).
