Hartbeespoort transforms into a cheese-and-wine, featuring over 50 top South African wines, the best cheese produce and live music.
Each guest receives a goodie bag with their wine glass, a day permit for the trails, water, a light snack, a pen, and information on the wines on offer.
The event also takes advantage of the scenery, with a family-friendly 4km hike. Throughout the hike, guests are welcomed by a different wine estate approximately every 500m of the way, and they get to try a wine and cheese pairing with Van Gaalen’s very own handmade cheese. Hikers who reach the halfway point get a light snack to refuel as a bonus.
