In the exhibition Spring Is Rebellious: The Art & Life of Albie Sachs, visitors can find a replica of The Albie Award, named after Albie Sachs who received a Lifetime Achievement in Pursuit of Justice award at the inaugural ceremony. Created by George and Amal Clooney, The Albies honour individuals and groups who courageously defend human rights across the world. These awards embody courage, integrity and humanity—qualities that continue to inspire.
In this spirit, the workshop invites you to reflect on the qualities you wish to nurture or the goals you want to achieve in 2026. Working with clay and symbolism, guests can create your own Award of Intention—a personal, meaningful object that embodies your aspirations and celebrates your future self, manifesting your intentions as if they have already been achieved.
The Zeitz MOCAA Adult Workshop Programme offers adults a creative experience to strengthen their connection to art and deepen their engagement with the exhibitions on view. All materials and equipment are provided, along with tea and snacks.
