Explore the magic of Food Jams, where every event is a party, and the cooking is only half the fun. Dive into their upcoming events at Feastivity in Johannesburg, each offering a unique blend of culinary creativity, vibrant atmospheres, and great company.
Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or just looking for an unforgettable experience, there’s something for everyone. Here’s what you need to know.

What are Food Jams?
Food jams take the concept of a musical jam session and turn it on its head with a culinary twist. Founder, Jade de Waal found that jam sessions with other musicians proved to be a fantastic way to learn whilst she was studying jazz music at the University of Cape Town.
Taking this concept paired with her love for cooking and a fruitful partnership with Jocelyn Myers-Adams, internationally renowned, locally based chef and entrepreneur, Food Jams came to be.
The workshops and culinary experiences aim to connect people through food, with experiences where culinary magic meets creative flair. They host themed cooking events, collaborating with local farmers and artisans, placing an emphasis on sustainability and supporting local communities.
From interactive workshops to exclusive private dining experiences, and from experiential catering to unforgettable events, guests get to ignite their senses and stir up some delicious excitement, with everything they need being provided for by the Food Jams team.
