The Glenshiel Fair is a must-visit market experience on Johannesburg’s social calendar every spring. This 2025 edition is running from 22 to 25 October, blending charm, style, and community spirit with a fabulous lineup of over 90 vendors to explore.
Held annually in the picturesque gardens of the Glenshiel Estate in Westcliff, the fair offers a carefully curated selection of locally made luxury goods, delicious food, and an unforgettable festive atmosphere. Here’s all you need to know.

What to expect from the 2025 Glenshiel Fair
More than 80 small business owners from South Africa and beyond will make their way to Johannesburg to showcase their most stylish, on-trend products at this year’s fair. Vendors traveling as far as the UK, Zimbabwe, the Cape, and the Natal Midlands, to stylish, on-trend looks, the Glenshiel Fair offers Johannesburgers a world-class shopping experience.
Expect exquisitely crafted bags, accessories, jewellery, clothing, scarves, and stunning home décor. This will also be the perfect opportunity to get a headstart on shopping for bespoke handcrafted Christmas decorations, stationery, and luxury tableware.

Indulge in culinary delights from the food and drink stalls
The experience extends beyond shopping at the fair. Treat your taste buds to delicious cakes, cookies, and other delights to help set you in the festive mood. Those after something on the savoury side can indulge in a delectable selection of gourmet treats, snacks and artisanal beverages.
A weekend of leisure that impacts the community
Proceeds of all entrance and raffle tickets go towards the valuable work of the Order of St John, a non-profit organisation that works to further their eye care, first aid, youth development and community health care projects across the country.
Previous Fairs have allowed the Order of St John to provide healthcare training in numerous under-resourced rural communities in partnership with the well-known Phelophepa Train. The support also contributed to the refurbishment of a mobile eye clinic to reach communities that do not have access to affordable, professional eye care services.
