Ground the Venue is hosting the Grounded Social Table, an alfresco dining experience where strangers can gather to tuck into artisanal eats under the sky. The experience includes a three-course lunch served sharing-style and a drinks menu driven by Inverroche.
What’s on the menu at the Grounded Social Table
The experience starts with Brie cheese with caramelised onion and beer bread, served with authentic farm butter. Head onto mains which include braised beef brushes with bone marrow fritters, a boneless chicken roast with chakalaka, and grilled lamb ribs that come with a zesty chilli lime and coconut basting.
Vegetarians can delight in grilled cabbage wedges and charred leeks, braai mushrooms, fire-cooked sweet potato and much more.
Finish your lunch with a modern take on classic South African desserts – milk tart spring rolls, peppermint crisp tart, and sticky toffee pudding.
