Hyde Park Corner continues to refine its luxury retail mix with the launch of Maison Deux. This new concept brings together international fashion, curated homeware and a café experience in a single, cohesive space.
The store is one of the latest projects by the Al Capone Group, and introduces a more layered approach to retail where shopping extends beyond transactions into a broader lifestyle experience. Alongside its fashion and interiors offerings, the space is anchored by South Africa’s first Marc Jacobs Café, which positions Maison Deux as a destination rather than a traditional retail stop.

Introducing Maison Deux
Maison Deux presents a tightly edited selection of globally recognised fashion houses, including Etro, Kenzo, Missoni, Givenchy, Marc Jacobs, Isabel Marant, Stella McCartney and Giuseppe Zanotti, alongside a multi-brand Al Capone selection featuring Moncler and Maison Margiela.
Beyond fashion, the store extends into home and living, with brands such as Etro Home, Missoni Home and Dolce & Gabbana Casa creating a rich, design-led environment. The interiors draw inspiration from European department stores, balancing elegance with a sense of discovery.
With exclusive pieces introduced for launch and the Marc Jacobs Café at its centre, the space encourages visitors to move fluidly between fashion, interiors and hospitality in one considered setting.

All about Marc Jacobs Cafe
At the heart of Maison Deux, the Marc Jacobs Café is designed as more than a stop for coffee. This restaurant in Johannesburg functions as a social hub, where retail and hospitality intersect. The menu is curated to complement the space, with a focus on quality coffee, light bites and easy, refined options that suit a casual visit or a quick meeting.
Expect pastries, simple café-style dishes and well-crafted beverages that reflect an elevated but approachable offering. The interiors lean into a design-led aesthetic, balancing clean lines with playful, fashion-forward touches. There’s a clear nod to New York’s energy, with a space that feels modern, polished and intentionally immersive, encouraging guests to linger rather than pass through.
