Molori Safari Lodge is located inside the Madikwe Game Reserve and provides travellers with a luxury stay as well as an African adventure.
Along with interiors recently refurbished by Megan Hesse and Andrea Kleinloog of Hesse Kleinloog Studio, the lodge now features even more art with a selection of pieces from the Ichikowitz Heritage Art Collection. The new additions include four Edoardo Villa sculptures, Deborah Bell’s large-scale bronze ‘Chariot’, miniatures and sculptures from Norman Catherine, a sculpture from Angus Taylor and the truly unique Savuti wallpaper from The Ardmore Collection.
Lady Skollie created the artwork that hangs by the entrance and Koos Groenewald of Jana+Koos created a one-of-a-kind rug that then inspired ‘the rug project’, which sees leading contemporary artists’ work being used to create floor art. Pieces based on the works of Athi-Patra Ruga, Cameron Platter, Jody Paulsen, Maja Marx, Nabeeha Mohamed and Groenewald are found throughout the lodge.
