More about Restaurant Week South Africa

Restaurant Week is a worldwide concept where the finest restaurants in Johannesburg and Pretoria open their doors for an exclusive culinary celebration. The South African edition was launched by Dining City, and runs twice a year in Spring and Autumn.

For one month, over 100 dining spots in the country – many of them award-winning – offer specially curated menus at special offers. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the city’s dynamic food scene.

From luxurious fine dining to trendy hotspots, Restaurant Week South Africa showcases exceptional cuisine, creative chefs, and world-class hospitality. Whether you’re a devoted foodie or simply looking to enjoy a memorable meal with friends or family, this is your chance to savour exquisite dishes at some of Gauteng’s most sought-after dining destinations.

How Restaurant Week South Africa works

Browse all the Johannesburg dining offers here, and the Pretoria ones here. The lunch and dinner set menus generally exclude drinks which are for your own account. At most restaurants, you can make reservations and settle the bill when you dine at the restaurant. Note that some restaurants may request a small deposit via Dineplan to secure your reservation.

Seats generally fill up fast, so advance booking is highly essential.
