What Pieter Toerien Productions is offering its audiences with this show is something both classic and phenomenal.

What makes this musical so timeless is that it looks at relationships from all angles, and over different time periods. From the desire to get into the dating game to the awkwardness of a first date, from dealing with breakups and parents to marriage and babies and growing old and losing loved ones. It sings each story from both the male and the female perspective and does so in grandiose doses of local talent. It’s over two hours of raw and honest glimpses into the human journey, taking on really serious topics – but never taking itself too seriously as a performance.

I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change is one of those productions that will have you rocking in your seat with laughter, nodding enthusiastically in recognition of your own life dramatised on stage. If you love being entertained, and more so if you love a hilarious world-class musical, don’t hesitate for a second to go see this play while we are fortunate enough to have it on stage.
