Rollercade is a family friendly indoor roller-skating amusement park located in Menlyn Mall, Pretoria. Families can visit and enjoy a safe and welcoming environment dedicated to roller-skating and a range of other fun activities for both young and old. Here’s what you need to know.
Ready, set, roll
Rollercade Pretoria is open seven days a week, offering two-hour sessions, with skate hire and free safety gear available with your booking. Skaters who have their own skates can also bring them along and pay a lower entrance fee.
Plus, parents who want to supervise their kids can pay a spectator’s fee to access the roller rink without skating. Spectators and skaters can also enjoy more fun and games at the arcade, play a round of pool, or simply enjoy good vibes and awesome tunes that play throughout each session.
There are late sessions from 7pm to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays too that are open exclusively to those aged 16+, offering the perfect escape for the older skate crowd who would like to enjoy the space separate from the young ones.
Note that socks are required at the rink and skate sizes are limited, so please enquire ahead if you require bigger than a size 10.
The Under 18s Stranger Things Roller Disco
Rollercade’s much-loved Stranger Things roller disco is set to return in 2026, promising another night of retro-inspired fun and high-energy skating. Fans can look forward to a lively roller skating disco soundtracked by great live music that keeps the atmosphere buzzing from start to finish.
This family-friendly event is open to kids under 18, but parents are welcome to join as spectators too. Off the rink, the arcade adds even more excitement, featuring classic games and a pool table to keep everyone entertained between skating sessions.
The Rollercade Café serves a tempting selection of food and drinks, perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed break. Don’t miss the slushy bar, serving ice-cold slushies to keep you refreshed throughout the evening.
