More about this stylish dinner party by Stella Artois
Based on the classic question of “If you could invite anyone to dinner, who would that be?”, the second edition of Let’s Do Dinner will bring together South Africa’s most noteworthy personalities – from actors to book authors, musicians, artists, and business titans – for a dinner event that celebrates the power of human connection. Last year’s guests included Zozibini Tunzi, Lloyiso, Lasizwe, Mihlali Ndamase and Melanie Bala, amongst others.
“Let’s Do Dinner Johannesburg promises to once again be one of the most unique social gatherings of the year, imbued with that quintessential South African touch. ‘Let’s Do Dinner’ celebrates the simple act of gathering around a table, enjoying good food and drink, and engaging in meaningful conversations, in our everyday lives. And that is something worth more,” says Estee Burger, Stella Artois Marketing Manager.
Actors Nomzamo Mbatha and Thapelo Mokoena to host Let’s Do Dinner 2024
Having attended the New York City event and hosting the event in Johannesburg in 2023, Coming2America and Shaka Ilembe star, Nomzamo Mbatha makes a glamorous return for the upcoming event.
“I’m so looking forward to hosting SA’s most fascinating dinner again after the success of last year’s inaugural event. There’s something so powerful about taking time out to share a meal – nothing is worth more than human connection and the meaningful moments that come from coming together around a table,” says Nomzamo Mbatha.
Joining Nomzamo is actor, media personality, and visionary entrepreneur, Thapelo Mokoena. “I truly resonate with what this event represents – bringing people together through the shared experience of a great meal. There’s something profound about how food and meaningful conversation create lasting connections; it doesn’t get any better than that,’ explains Thapelo.
What’s included in the experience
Included in the experience is a three-course meal crafted by a local chef, accompanied by the malty middle and crisp finish of Stella Artois lager. The Belgian-style beer boasts a taste profile that is full of flavour with a faint hint of bitterness.
